The mainstay of the services on offer. ADG Energy Services can offer the following core Process Engineering services:
Core to ADG Energy Services Ltd's provision is the extensive experience in Front Line Asset Support. This would commonly be known as the asset Process Engineer. A key role for most assets, the Process Engineer owns and is responsible for a variety of asset documents and activities:
The director has held various front line asset roles for various major and minor operating companies (Total, bp, Maersk etc). Onshore and offshore, both fixed and floating.
Another core offering is the ability to troubleshoot and extensive de-bottlenecking experience. Troubleshooting is a key ability in the toolkit of a front line asset engineer being able to analyse and act upon operational issues in the day to day support role. Consulting-in presents it's own challenges for the troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking effort since the client may already have been troubleshooting for some time following the traditional solution routes. A bespoke and sometimes less obvious approach may be necessary to tease out the most pragmatic solution. The director believes that the onsite operations team is key to successful implementation of identified solutions. Involving the onsite team every step of the way helps to garner a good working relationship and gains their respect for the ultimate solutions, a winning outcome all the way!
Key to this role is the willingness to ask unorthodox questions that will challenge the design responsible team, exposing, where appropriate design and operational issues. Extensive front line support experience helps in this respect as many design may seem good on paper until the operations team begin kicking the wheels.
Extensive front line operations experience allied to design and project awareness is key to successful non-operated asset engineering support. ADG Energy Services has supported a number of UK sector North Sea assets, playing significant roles in the support of the client at Asset Technical and Operational Committee level.
A clear understanding of the new plant structure both from Mechanical and Instrument and Electrical perspectives is a necessity for the successful Commissioning Site Leader. The director has direct commissioning site lead experience, both onshore and offshore commissioning compression and associated equipment in both environments.
